PROFESSIONAL BATHROOM RENOVATIONS GLEN IRIS

Purposeful design, a fixed price and total project management, every detail handled from concept through to completion.

Our Approach to Bathroom Renovations in Glen Iris

A well-executed bathroom renovation is one of the most practical and rewarding investments a homeowner can make. It changes how you start and end every day and adds genuine, lasting value to your property.

We get to know your bathroom before we do anything else. That means understanding the space, the way you use it, what’s frustrating you and what you’d love instead. From there, your renovation is delivered by our licensed registered builders through a process that’s fully managed, clearly priced and built around a committed timeline.

Every layout, finish and fixture decision is worked through and confirmed upfront, with 3D renders and CAD plans in hand before anything on site is touched.

We run the whole show. Trades, timelines, suppliers, and communication are all taken care of by one team, keeping your renovation on track without adding to your to-do list.

Our experienced in-house team works alongside licensed electrical and plumbing partners who are familiar with our process and deliver to our standards every time.

Our Renovation Process

How Your Glen Iris Bathroom Renovation Works

01 Initial Consultation

We start with a real conversation about your goals, your budget and the scope of what’s involved. Photos, sketches or a mood board can help us get a clear picture early. Once the brief is shaped, we’ll arrange a consultation with our builder to work through the project in detail.

02 Planning & Fixed-Price Quote

We visit your home to take stock of the space and lock in the layout. From there, you’ll receive a fixed-price quote with a fully itemised scope of work. Every cost is accounted for, with no line items left vague to ensure no surprises further down the track.

03 Design & Pre-Construction

While contracts and insurances are being arranged, our Interior Designer works with you to finalise your fixtures and finishes. We handle procurement and prepare 3D renders and plans for your approval. Nothing goes ahead until you’re satisfied with the plan.

04 Build & Quality Completion

Your dedicated Project Manager is on the job from day one to handover. The build is closed out with a thorough quality inspection, and all compliance documentation is provided so you can move forward with complete peace of mind.

What’s included in your renovation:

Every part of the renovation is taken care of under one project. No juggling contractors, no chasing deliveries, no wondering who’s responsible for what. Just a well-managed build delivered to a high standard.

Understanding Your Renovation Budget

A clear sense of your priorities makes budgeting a much smoother process. Once we know what matters most to you, we can work with you to direct your spend where it has the greatest impact and make practical trade-offs where it doesn’t.

What drives the cost of your renovation:

Layout
Keeping your existing plumbing and drainage where it is avoids a significant amount of additional work and cost.

Bathroom size & complexity
The larger and more detailed the space, the more materials, labour and trade coordination it takes to deliver.

Scope & timeframe
Structural changes, wall removals or major reconfigurations will add time to the build and cost to the overall budget.

Tiling extent
Focusing tiles on the shower and vanity splashback is a straightforward way to maintain a quality finish while keeping costs in check.

Tile size & pattern
Large-format tiles are efficient to install. Smaller formats, mosaics and decorative patterns take longer and cost more to lay.

Tapware selection
Tapware spans a wide price range. We’ll point you toward options that work with your design and get the most value from our trade pricing.

Vanities & basins
Pre-made vanities offer solid quality and value. Custom joinery creates a more tailored result but adds to the investment required.

Fittings, finishes & lighting choices
Additions like heated towel rails, underfloor heating, feature lighting and LED mirrors can significantly lift the feel of a space, and each one shapes the final budget. We’ll help you decide what makes sense for your home and how you use it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Cost comes down to scope, selections and how much structural change is required. The layout decision alone can have a significant bearing, as working within the existing footprint avoids a lot of extra work. Tiles, tapware, vanities and lighting choices then build on top of that. We’ll take you through it all and help you put a budget together you can commit to. Renovations start from $32,900, subject to scope and selections.

You’re in good company, as many of our clients are renovating for the first time. We make a point of keeping things clear at every stage: what’s included, what decisions are coming up and what to expect as the build progresses. Your dedicated Project Manager is with you from start to finish as your single point of contact.

A straightforward bathroom without structural work typically wraps up in around 3 weeks. Larger or more complex projects generally take 4 weeks. You’ll have a confirmed project schedule before anything starts, so there are no grey areas around timing.

Usually yes, though there will be times during plumbing rough-in and waterproofing in particular when water access is briefly interrupted. We go through this during planning so you can prepare ahead of time.

Yes. Both are coordinated and managed as part of your renovation through our licensed trade partners. There’s nothing for you to organise separately, as it all runs through the one project.

Our renovations are covered by statutory warranties in accordance with Victorian building legislation. This includes:

• Structural work – 6 year warranty
• Non-structural work – 2 year warranty
• Waterproofing – 7 year warranty

Where applicable, works are also protected by Domestic Building Insurance (DBI).

Most manufacturer warranties within your bathroom apply to fittings and fixtures, which are covered separately by the product supplier. We carefully select products from trusted brands renowned for their quality and longevity, with many items offering extended warranties (for example, a lifetime warranty is available on Meir tapware).

We’re happy to walk you through the specific warranty coverage for your renovation and chosen products.
